Settings
On the Mac, Geo Measure › Settings… (⌘,). On iPad, Settings in the toolbar; on iPhone, at the bottom of the More menu.
Map
- Map Style: for every document (Hybrid by default).
- Zoom to Fit After Adding a Point: refits the map as you add points (off).
- Show Shape Names and Values: each shape’s name and number on the map (off).
- Show Side Lengths: each side’s length on the selected shape (off).
- Show My Location: the blue dot (on).
- Show Scale: the scale bar (on).
- Show Compass: the compass (on).
- Glass (iPhone only): Automatic, Clear or Frosted.
New Documents
- First Shape: Area, Distance or Circle, for the first tap on an empty map.
- Area Unit and Distance Unit: for new documents; each document keeps its own.
Numbers
- Precision: 3 to 6 significant figures (4).
- Coordinates: Decimal Degrees or Degrees, Minutes, Seconds, in callouts and the points table.
Appearance (shapes without a colour of their own)
- Distance Color and Distance Line Width (1 to 8, default 4).
- Area Color (border and see-through fill) and Area Border Width (1 to 8, default 4).
Tracking
- Point Spacing: 1, 3, 5, 10 or 20 m (5).
- Keep the Screen On While Tracking (iPhone and iPad, on).
Reset to Defaults puts everything back.
